About Us
At Oxford Veterinary Clinic, you are in great hands!
From making the appointment to the discharge of your pet, our goal is to provide the best communication and care possible.
Dr. Royann Leflore
Veterinarian
I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was in kindergarten. My family was heavily involved in our local 4-H club and we raised cattle and show pigs on our farm. This deepened my love of caring for animals and my desire to become a veterinarian.
I majored in Animal & Dairy Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University and graduated from MSU-College of Veterinary Medicine with my DVM in May of 2006. I was an associate at multiple clinics before I purchased an existing clinic in the Mississippi delta which I owned for over 6 years before we moved to Oxford.
I have always enjoyed practice ownership and my desire to own a practice in Oxford has been a top priority. I have been an associate at a local practice and done relief work for the last 4 years from Batesville to Tupelo. Most recently, in Jackson & Grenada while waiting for the renovation of the new clinic.
I am so proud of our clinic and can’t wait to welcome you and your pets to our practice!
Megan Mann
Groomer/Vet Tech
Megan was born on a farm where she learned about raising goats, cattle and horses first hand. She also always had dogs and cats but she had other unusual pets. Those included exotic birds, chinchillas, squirrels, rabbits, ferrets, degus, hedgehogs and potbellied pigs.
Megan was very active in the 4H program as a child and now her sons are 4H members. She also spends her weekends hauling her sons to barrel races and helping them reach their goals. Megan attended Mississippi State University where she pursued a degree in Equine Science. She also attended Equi-touch where she gained certification in massage therapy for horses.
As a teenager she started a pony ride and petting zoo business. In addition to that and her full time job at OVC, Megan trains horses and gives riding lessons. She and her sons own 2 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, a goat, Brahman cattle, a donkey, a mule and 14 horses.
Megan says, “It keeps us real busy but we love it. I cannot imagine life without animals”
